We lovers of Mid-Century Modern (1940′s – 1960′s) and Vintage Vegas style stick together. We like to theme our holiday parties (or any get together) in the retro style. I say, start with the invitation! It’s let’s your guests know from the get-go what to expect.
My Retro Invitation & Card Source
I have found a great collection of these retro invitations that I want to share with you. The designer is one I have purchased from many times and know I will continue. The designs are thoughtful, reminiscent and unique in today’s fast paced, high tech world.
I love to order from their Zazzle store — RetroChristmasCard — so that I can choose from their many designs but also personalize the party details for my family and friends and it looks so much better than just filling in blanks. It’s the best of both worlds!
This year, I have narrowed it down to the following choices for my retro Christmas party invitations. What do ya think?
I truly love all 3 designs — the first two have that “Vintage Las Vegas” feel I just love! One look and my friends will know exactly who is hosting the party!
The 3rd one is classic nostalgia. It reminds me of the decorations my parents and extended family always used on thier Christmas trees. It makes me smile. I like to pass the feeling on to the guests of my Christmas party.
Retro Styles Galore
Of course, there are a lot more to choose from. Are you hosting an Ugly Christmas sweater party? cookie swap? holiday shindig or even a New Year’s Eve party? They’ve got you covered!
From retro snapshots to retro tropical to rockin’ around the Christmas tree party, you’ll find a design that you will love and your guests will get a kick out of as well.
Remember, before you set out the meatballs, stock the bar and put up that first holiday party decoration, you need an invitation. And, one that will convey your love of retro, vintage Christmases is even better.
Personalization is free — find your favorite design, customize it and get them in the mail early! A unique and different invitation can get your party moved to the top of the list this holiday season!
If you really want to go all out, consider getting some matching postage stamps and labels too! May as well go all out!
